20th Street FRPA Whitewater Training Center
Denver, Colorado
This is a great, informal race for boaters of all levels Beginners that want an easy introduction to the season, and experts that want to test their precision boating skills will both find a challenge at this race.
No slalom experience is needed. Want to race in your playboat? Come on out! But, if youre interested in trying out a slalom boat, FRPA has generously offered to bring extras.
And, dont forget the FREE Bar-B-Q following the race!
Where: Cuernevaca Park (South end of Platte Street)
When: Saturday April 9, 2005 10:00 - 12:00
Who: Everyone no experience needed and people will be on hand to give a pointer to any interested novice slalom racers

Directions: Take the 20th street exit from I-25, head toward downtown Denver. Turn right on Little Raven (just past the freeway, next to the skatepark). Turn right on 19th Street. Turn right on Platte Street and follow to until it dead-ends into a parking lot at City of Cuernavaca Park. Walk thru the park to the river, the race course is visable from the park.
