Attention Rafters and users of the creek:

Please be aware of a new, large boulder in Clear Creek. It is located after Ox Bow, at the end of Cork-Screw curve. The boulder is passable and the creek remains open. For your safety, please raft around the boulder by staying to the right of the creek.

Photos of the new boulder are attached to this email.

Rock fall mitigation efforts are taking place in the Ox Bow portion of Clear Creek thru July 18. The construction project team is requesting cooperation from all water crafts including rafters, boaters and kayakers moving through the Ox Bow portion of Clear Creek. Rock scaling is planned for Monday- Friday 6 a.m. – 1 p.m.

If you have any further questions, please contact the Public Information Team.

ADVISORY UPDATE

Clear Creek Canyon - (After Ox Bow, Near Corkscrew)
Is Now Clear of Large Boulder

Attention Rafters:

The large boulder in Clear Creek Canyon that is located after Ox Bow and after the Corkscrew curve, has been moved to the bank of the creek. Now that the boulder has been relocated to the side of the creek, there is a clear path for users of the creek.

Thank you for your cooperation as we progress in the construction of a new trail along the creek. Rock fall mitigation activities will continue next week.

If you have any questions regarding the project, please contact us.
