I don't know how it happened but my Hyside got a full money shot of sap somehow? I'v tried soap and water but this stuff is stubborn. I had some suggest olive oil and even mayo. Anyone know a way to get rid of this stuff before I start smearing mayonnaise all over my boat?

I use olive oil to get tree sap off all kinds of things - my hands, dog fur, chairs. Might have used it to get some tar off once in the boat as well. If you are worried about residue of oil then wash with warm soapy water after.

91% Isopropyl alcohol, it took sap out of my hair this spring, melted it right away and I just rinsed the alcohol out and no sap was left at all.

I've been told that white wall tire cleaner works like magic but I'm afraid to use it on my boat.
