Paddlefest 05' will be held at the Silverthorne Pavilion, April 15-17 this year. The format will remain similar to years past with exhibiting manufacturer representatives showcasing their newest lines of product, on sale for up to 40% off. Customers can trade in used kayaks for instant CKS credit to use at the show or any CKS location.

My favorite part of the show tends to be the Saturday night regional film premier and after party, and this year should be no exception with John Grace's "7 Rivers Expedition” action documentary kayak film starting at 7:30 pm. LVM #15 by Penstock Productions will premier Saturday evening as well.

The Silverthorne Pavilion is located at:
400 Blue River Parkway
Silverthorne, CO I-70 exit 205

Show Hours:
Friday, April 15th 4pm-9pm
Saturday, April 16th 9am-7pm
Sunday, April 17th 9am-1pm

If you have any questions post here or contact Earl at CKS.

“The 7 Rivers Expedition” kayak documentary to premiere at CKS Paddlefest

Buena Vista, CO, March 1, 2005 – John Grace will premiere “The 7 Rivers Expedition” action documentary on Saturday, April 16th at 7:30pm at the Silverthorne Pavilion to coincide with Colorado Kayak Supply’s third annual Paddlefest show.

Producer John Grace explains, "In the summer of 2004 a team of kayakers set out to run the seven premiere multi-day expeditions in the California Sierra Nevada mountain range. Never in the history of kayaking had these seven rivers been paddled by one group of kayakers all in the same season. Being called a truly bold endeavor the seven rivers represent the most significant whitewater undertaking in the United States over the past 20 years." Grace’s film captures this monumental challenge in a high quality documentary format that is sure to leave viewers breathless.

Tickets for the films will be sold at Paddlefest on Friday, April 15th from 4pm-9pm and Saturday, April 16th from 9am-7:30pm. Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $3 for kids under 12.
