Greyhound freight is usually pretty cheap. It may take a week, and they're not good with tracking info, but it's cheap and works. If you know of anyone flying Southwest air, they're also very cheap as checked baggage. I had mine shipped to Denver via Amtrak. It was only fifty bucks and they had it sitting there when I arrived. They also track well and call when the boat arrives.
