Has anyone tried the new Cataraft H20 handle option? The H2O system consists of two regular handles and two internally-weighted handles for counterbalancing that you can switch up.

I just ordered some new 9.5 Cataraft oars, and looking for other options to counterbalance if needed. I used the Cataraft counterbalance sleeves on my 10ft oars, and one of them always kept slipping down to my oar tower. What a pain!

I had the same issue with the add on cataract oar weights.

picked up some of that narrow plastic tape same color as the oar shafts and just wrapped a few turns of tape just above and below the counter weights and have had zero slippage problems since then. I also replaced the nylon screws on the counter weights with stainless steel ones. I put one strip of tape running up and down the shaft for the screw to contact the oar shaft. Tightened the screws snug but not excessively so. No problems with that either.

They're called CataRACT oars and you can use them on more than your cataraft...
