Jon had to head back east to visit with family. So, I got bored and marked a bunch of stuff on sale. The sale will last until he get's back in town and then it's back to business as usual.

ALL Pyranha kayak $750.00! While they last.

Sale on Dagger, Liquid Logic (sorry, no Jefe's left), and Prijon boats.

PFD's, skirts, helmets, sunglasses, DVD's, base layers, and paddles.

And all left over drytops (30% off) must go to make room for winter stuff!

So, stop on by and pay us a visit. And don't tell the owner what's going on. Give me a call if you need directions 303-433-3676.

As for anyone with deposits on demo boats... you can pick them up after this weekend. I'll let'em go early.

Don @ Confluence Kayaks

Now taking applications for Team CK. You think you got what it takes... we'll hook you up. Be sure to bring a picture of you in your boat.

Dude, I just called him and he's PISSED. I'd leave the country if I's you. Give me some free stuff and I'll smooth it over.

Sorry no Rocker

Sorry no Rocker this year. It was a lttle late coming in this year, and has more rental time ahead of it.

Great boat for sure.

You should check with Pete in Steamboat and see if he still has his. We both got them at the same time.

Heya Don,
Two questions....

a) Would you know what you guys have sitting around in the way of women's drytops with latex-free/ neoprene gaskets?

and,

b) I'm assuming you ship, right? ;)

Thanks a bunch!

If you don't like latex you should try naturalamb gaskets.

Sale

Lauren- We have one new and one used Nomad 8.1 ($725).

newby0616- Sorry, in Colorado we don't get too much of a request for gasket-less jackets. Out here anything without latex is a semi-dry top. I've heard from a few on my friends in the medical biz about latex reactions. Your not alone. Mountain Surf might might the best jacket for your needs. Give John Mason a call and see if they have any close-outs for the season. It's that time of year when the manufactures switch colors and styles and they might just have something sitting around perfect for you.

Hey Don,
Thanks for the reply-- no, I *am* in need of gaskets (!!!!!) ;) , just not the variety that includes latex.

Unfortunately, I'm one of those highly allergic people who can't even "breathe" latex particles (in other words, handling rubber bands here in the office is a no-no, as is writing with pens that've been bound with 'em, working on charts that were rolled in the rubber bands, etc), because I start having respiratory issues, swelling, difficulty breathing, that sort of thing. :( Yeah, it's a *whole* lotta fun..... having to be careful about something that's that commonly used. I'm not thinking it's a good idea to have the stuff stretched around my neck and wrists all day since this is the case, though!

Am I just SOL and resigned to paddle 3 seasons with fleece and a splash-jacket instead??

Jackets

Newby-

Baby you still got options. Don't fret. Checkout Mountain Surf: http://www.mountainsurf.com/shop_online_i649307.html?catId=23133

The Freestyle jacket is what your looking for. It's neo cuffed and waterproof breathable. The picture on the site is a little misleading (it shows a drydeck / skirt-jacket combo). You can get just the jacket.

Mountain Surf makes awesome stuff. Top of the line. Remember that by industry definition a jacket "has" to have latex gaskets to be called a "drytop". Even if it keeps out all the water, a jacket without latex is still called a "semi-dry" top. It's going to take time before we all get PC.

Nube, the neo/cuff jackets from ir are sweet. too. I have a competition shorty that is almost dry...actually about as dry as my bullshit stohlquist dry top. I think ir might use latex in the band that goes around the cuff and neck, though. I'm not sure. Check it out @ immersionresearch.com

And if all else fails..try writing the good folks at naturalamb...maybe they can hook you up with some custom gaskets..lol Careful, though...they won't keep out viruses.
