I know there's a bike path along Shoshone...how far past Grizzly Creek does it extend?

A long way. You can go from Glenwood Springs up to the east end of the canyon... the start of the canyon.

Dunno... never rode that way but I have boated past Glenwood Springs and do not see any path - except I-70.

The path goes all the way to two rivers park, but you have to navigate some surface streets around the Hot Springs Hotel and Pool. Just before Two Rivers Park, you can turn south and head up the Roaring Fork. That path will take you up to 24th Street (?) (the road that goes up to Sunlight). There is another path that runs from Basalt all the way to Aspen along the Roaring Fork. The goal of many people in the Roaring Fork Valley is to someday have the two paths join, but the debate may be never ending. I could ramble on, but I suppose I answered your question in the first line...
