I am looking for some beta on when a good time will be to catch Big Timber creek and other creeks nearby in Montana this year. I have heard that the last week of june or first week of july is usually good, but it seems that with a lower than average snowpack, sooner may be better. Any info greatly appreciated! Thanks,

Alex

Last season it was running strong in the first week of July. This season I am not sure, but would check with the kayak shop in Bozeman... Northern lights I believe.

Better yet, I would check with Jason @ RiverSource in Livingston since he actually boats Big Timber. I'm not sure that anyone at N.L. would really know for certain. -Dave
