Might head down this afternoon. Is the road open now? They had the pull off road closed a few weeks back. Praying for Big Sur to come in!

Do you need a long fast boat for Big Sur? Will a 2010 Jackson Super Star be fast enough?

I've never seen the wave before but think I'll check it out today or tomorrow.

Big Sur Further update

Yes the pull off road is now open. It's at 22300 right now. Headed over there in a couple hours & will post when I get back early evening. There is probably surfable wave right now on the back two which are good to go at the lower water level for your jackson but probably not for the front wave which will be good for longer boats. When it comes in properly there will be a wave for any boats. Will let all know the real scoop around dark.

Cousin Dan and I hit it a couple years ago (21-22k I think) and a Jackson fun had trouble staying on but an old Riot Slice ruled it.
Anyone want to rent a Riot Slice?
