Anyone have info on this? Cant find my bible so I googled and could not find much. I saw an older video of a mission up there, looks fun!? Mainly concerned with access and what the hike would be like, and put-in take out locations. I am assuming its a wood haven and appears to be high, so this would probably be a scout mission. I heard there is a gate that if closed makes it a 4 mile hike in?

The trailhead is 2 or 3 miles up Tigawon Rd. The gate may be closed for elk calving requiring a 2 miles additional to the hike. Call the forest service in Minturn. If the gate is open the hike is 2 miles or so on a nice singletrack really sweet area. I have not been in 7 or 8 years it is low volume steep slide mini gorges with very high wood and face grinding potential. Tyson and other Vail-Eagle county boaters have semi flossed it in the past. You will hike/scout the run before running it for sure. A guide is a fine idea too. Cheers
