Coming out with the GF for a 4 day weekend over July 4th. Currently candidates are Upper C, Taylor, Ark (fractions, maybe browns), Poudre (lower stretch). PRobably nothing more than mellowish III, as I don't want to scare her. Am I missing something? Is there anything over on the Yampa by steamboat that would be worth a look? As a kayaker, I know the rivers and camping areas, but I don't really know the best hikes, so would appreciate any suggestions on that front.

I was out last friday on browns, camped out on cottonwood, and hiked yale on saturday with the girlfriend. It was the first time camping/hiking in that area, and there were a whole lot of trails. Aside from Yale, which was an easy 14er (although I would rather swim a calss IV rapid than hike a 14er) there are many other hiking options.
I will be taking the GF down the pumphouse on Sat. the 5th, she is also in a duckie, and camping by state bridge if you would like to meet up.
