I need something for my cat that I can keep my beer in,, and have a top that flips shut to keep the river water out of my beer during the rapids. Not for HUGE rapids,, dont drink during those,, but for smaller stuff,, all it takes is one decent wave to soak you in a cataraft. Any suggestions?? and NO,, drinking the river water is not an option. thanks

and the search continues... what I want is a cross between a koozie, and a beer stein (with waterproof lid) that the can fits into. if I have to make one,, I claim the patent

And then get the drink holder of your choice. There are some cool ones made for motorcycles that might mount directly to your frame.
Otherwise, there are plenty of plastic ones that you could rig up something with.
