wonder how they compare to teva gnarkosi's

 

I havn't seen the Tevas in the flesh but the Brewers seem less bulky.

 

I got my pair last week. They were too big to fit in my Superstar without reworking the outfitting (duh) but felt comfortable on the heel. Fit fine in the creeker. Pretty comfortable and grippy.

If they last more than a season I'll be a fan.

 

How do the sizes run, large, small? I have wide feet and want to buy a pair.

 

Update: I don't like wearing them playboating at all. The sole is too thick and stiff for them to be comfortable the way most of us sit in our playboats... with or without happy feet or foam.

Feel great in the creeker, and awesome walking around in the water and rocks.

 

Compared to the Gnarkosi they are slightly lower volume in the heel (smaller heel counter/lower center of gravity) Grip they are better (its Stealth rubber, duh) Side by side it would be a tough call.

I have now witnessed bootie beers drank from both the Gnarkosi and the Brewer, and the Brewer fails in that department hands down. The poor kid had to drink a 2nd boot to redeem himself for the failed first one.
