I've got colleagues doing river research (ecology, hydrology, etc) in Patagonia who could use some info from anyone who has paddled (or has info about) rivers in Aysen region of Chile.

Could you please contact me if you know of anyone who has paddled rivers in Aysen (especially the Baker or Pascua but others too)?

I'll contact Piero Vellutino, Robby Dastin, and the Futa outfitters as likely candidates, but if you know of others, please let me know. Thanks very much!

the baker has a commercial raft outfit on it out of coyhaqui. it gets run often. the pascua has been paddled only a couple of times. russel kelley and damon miller, r.i.p. where the last to do the pascua. i think marian sather and tyler curtis were also there in the last couple of years. kurt casey and co. minus john foss who had recently passed in peru did it first.
kurt casey, josh lowry and robbie d all have good info for you. let me know if you want any of their emails. tyler and marian's book should be coming out soon.
