I"ve owned 3 Jacksons including the first Super Fun in the western U.S. I saw one hull failure that was attributed to a bad run of hulls from their original molder. They no longer use this molder. I recall Eric reported 3 hull failures in their first 2 years at the end of last season.
The footbags on my original, and other boats have held up very well. I did need to replace the pump bulb once.
I recommend buying a 2006 with the boat armor outfitting. It is a big improvement for structural integrity of both the front and back pillars, and the hull. Feel free to contact me if you want any additional information.
