Anybody using a SportBrella Breeze Canopy on your raft instead of bimini/umbrella?

I know that umbrellas + biminis are used pretty often. But, is anyone using a SportBrella Breeze Canopy for shade on the raft?

It looks like you could easily rig it without the tarp on the bottom and just attach the side poles of the canopy to the rails of the raft frame with a couple NRS straps. The frame of the canopy would be out of the way for rowing. The sides can flap up and allow side-view. It packs small, is light, and you could rig the tarp + canopy spread flat as additional shelter at camp if needed.

But, I'm curious about how it'd handle wind (are the poles gonna break on the first gust?), and if anyone else has used them and has thoughts on it.

I don't know. Doesn't look like the poles would be as quick to put up and take down as a bimini or an umbrella. Might be worth a try for the price. Can always take it to a kids soccer game... LOL
I can raise my Bimini in 30 seconds, drop it in 15 seconds and it will withstand a 40 mph head on wind. All which looks top be impossible with this. Plus this blocks your view more. I would pass on this IMHO.

That would be my biggest concern. Taking it down for rapids looks like it would get pretty inconvenient. For a flat water desert float it would probably work great.
