Yeehaw! So the Animas in town just hit 6000 at the north end of town and 7000 thru the whitewater park so clearly something is flashing big time and it maybe is just starting to round off. I can't wait to see what the park looks like. Big surf this morning!

And your 5:30 surf report says Smelter is a wash - Cornerpocket is thumping but flushing to the right - which sets you up perfectly for the maw of the monster - Ponderosa is riverwide and hungry - Clocktower is starting to flush and I didn't check downstream but I'll bet it's good.

It's supposed to be mid 80's from Wednesday on. That should tap the high snow for another surge into the weekend.

something is definitely wonky with the gage the ft does not agree with the cfs. needs another recalibration.

I think that after a measured discharge there will be a discrepancy between the previous levels and cfs because it was recalibrated.
