I've run across a deal on a used Puma with the old type of closed-cell foam floor. A good friend suggests that I stay away from it and keep looking. Is it just a matter of packability? What other drawbacks might the foam floor have? Benefits?
I realize this post is OLD, but seeing as how there were NO replies, for the sake of somebody who may search the topic. . .
Main disadvantage of the foam is packability. Main advantage, it's a very firm platform, and you can't pop it. Depends how big a deal packability is to you.
