For some longer bigger trips I like to have a takedown paddle with the trip, in addition to the hand paddles that live in the back of my son's hardboat. I was using (and hating) an aquabound shred 4 piece paddle, but the blades always get jammed into the shaft, and in this final case permanently lodged in.
Is anyone a little happier with their take down paddle? Can be a classic straight shaft.

I have a powerhouse 200cm 4 piece I’d sell for $200 + shipping. Email I’d you want it.

Any good, high tolerance 4PC whitewater paddle will seize over time if you don't keep it clean. Werners are impossible to get apart once they start to get dirty, so don't think they'll be any better in that regard.
