LSB Help

I am thinking of running LSB from Gross to Eldo. I have never run this section before, has anyone been on lately? I heard talks of an ugly strainer and would like to know if it is still there. Also, anyone have beta at 300 CFS?

Thanks

Can't speak about wood but do know 300 is doable, and IMHO 550 is just plain spanking fun! BUT you also have to look at the Eldo gauge (flow over dam that covers the last few miles before takeout) and its only running 66 which is called "moist soil". It gets real boney below 90, wouldn't recomend it unless you want to drag your boat in the river bed for 3 miles.

Just think of the lower stretch as part of the shuttle. it sucks at 66, but ive managed it at as low as 35.
