Payette Update

Word to the wise:
Main Payette ~9,700, check the freestyle photos to see what's in...
NF Payette 4g's, and going up. The juice is loose.

NF is expected to hold or go up in the next week. Same for the Main. This would be a good time to come paddle the Payettes.

Hey Fish

Do you think the levels will still be "crankin" at the end of the month?
Hows the MF of the Salmon flow? I'm on my way up soon from good ol' Colorado for a July 1 MF of the Salmon launch - I'll be there a few days early for some Payette action.
Colorado rivers are going off.. great water should last longer than average years.

Glenn,
Chances are that the juice will not be loose at the end of the month. We'll most likely have above average flows on the Payettes for that time of year. But the Bladder will be out by then and the NF will be coming into its normal summer range. There may very well be some good surf in at Climax. At around 5,000 on the Main Payette, the third wave at Climax, known as Trimax, comes in and it is a good one.

We're expecting another "mini-peak" once it gets hot again. I bet you'll have flow somewhere in the 3 to 4 range on the MF at the end of the month.
