Anyone seen a Star High Five in person?
Looks like an intriguing entry into the mini raft market.
Things I like about the design: lots of d-rings, 4 perimeter chambers, top wear patch that no other mini seems to have, a couple of extra inches in width, price.
Things I'm hesitant about: drop stitch floor seems like the outlaw which is notorious for being submerged, and which will collect grit and grime and wear away at the material.
The floor looks a little elevated so maybe it wouldn't be as wet as the outlaw but you still have the grit issue.
The design kind of looks like a tiny Aire DD series boat.
If it was that price with a traditional floor I think I'd be all over it.
Our paddling crew just won a Star High Five at the Feather River silent auction. Took it out the next day. Not a total small raft geek, but the design seems great.
The floor will probably gather some grit and need some periodic maintenance, but overall, not horrible.

I haven't had this problem with my Outlaw. I have gone to some trouble to arrange rigging so nothing sits on the floor.
Did a day float with someone who had a shiny new one this year. I didn't "crawl all over it" but is seemed solid and the owner really liked it.
