    Sorry, just saw this. The Smith rarely runs after June 1st. The drainage is really low and doesn't hold snow. To run SF is a fun stretch. Just make sure to take out above the gorge, which involves a bit of a hike up a steep trail from the river. Basically, you will drive to the second bridge going up the SF. Put in there and float to the normal put in for the SF Gorge. So make sure you stop and know exactly what that looks like. There are a couple III+ or IV- rapids on the SF above the gorge too. I'm not aware of any maps of the run.

    thanks not feel it. Yeah I have been surprised bye the rudeness of a lot of people on this forum, but I've seen a lot worse in other places. Not that big of a deal, in fact these weren't that big of a deal either, I just really appreciate respectful conversation and dialogue. It wasn't me in the photos, but thanks for your comments.

    Jason, we almost cancelled due to the fires and such, but AllRiversShuttle says that things are improving. See you at the put in for the Lower!
