Have a question you might be able to answer. I have a June 10th ladore launch and it’s going to be high water and am deciding on if I’m gong to take my 11 yr old daughter because of it. I think in a previous years post you had a high water trip with kids and you had them walk upper and lower disaster. How hard/long of a hike is it around and how hard to pick up. We did ladore last year at 2000 ish so familiar with scout area. Also you said you walked them Around hells I believe . Curious how you did that as it seemed like you couldn’t very easily. And thanks if you see this and reply before my trip
Remember ME? Brad Beaver in Durango. I am planning this year's Cat trip and it looks LOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am planning a Dirty Devil takeout and hopefully a overnight at Gypsum and Dark Canyon. I saw your also doing some research. What are your finds thus far? I expect it to be BONEY .. We have 7 boats & 2 motors. I was hoping to motor to the confluence but it may be too low for that also. UtOh! I can give you a trip report in Late Aug before your trip. Stay in touch! Thanks!
My name is Cal and I was wondering if you could help me out with a GoPro pole mount solution? I have admired your vids on here and YouTube and like the captain's bay perspective you have in the videos. I have a Grand trip coming up in October and would like to capture some of the whitewater moments in a similar fashion.
I am curious to know how you mount the GoPro and how you secure it. I see that there is a product called the GoPole but it seems that it's max reach of 36" might not be enough to get that bird's eye view that you have been able to master.
Anywho, I hope the message finds you well and that you could share some of your GoPro secrets with me. I am an amateur GoProer at best.
