SUP the Selway w/ rafter dude support???
I'm not new to rivers or SUP, but haven't done much sup surfing. Just a ton of SUP racing for a year, and a good bit of downwind runs and races on the coasts of CA and Maui.
Have gotten mixed advice on the option of taking inflatable SUP down the Selway in Idaho this July.
Elbow and knee pads, check. Otherwise... with raft support for sections like Moose Juice perhaps- or no- you tell me!. But other than gnar sections, any of you saying NO?
I'm into a challenge for sure. But not into a major survival fest. I need to survive to race downwind in Oregon afterwards.
River experience is B+ hair creeker back in the polypro and shitty drytop days.
