ISO advice for SUP-ing the Moab Daily

Hey everyone!

First post on Mountain Buzz, but I've been a long-time lurker. This is such a cool community.

I have heard that you can SUP the Moab Daily, but I wanted to check in because I thought there were some Class 2+/3 rapids on that stretch. I have SUP'ed the Upper Colorado (Pumphouse to State Bridge) numerous times, and have done Ruby self-supported. However, myself and another SUPer would be doing the Daily without boat support, and I'm apprehensive having never run it in a boat.

Does anyone have suggestions for put-in/take-out zones and if it's runnable by SUP (and look, I'm admittedly not that hard core about it, so I'd rather be safe and wait until our friends w boats join us later in the season).

Thanks for any input!

Rocky rapid to Sandy beach is a suitable sup run and is comparable to the upper colorado run you have done in difficulty. This time of year it will have more volume and therefore a little bit more of a challenge.
