Ticla Rambler Sleeping bag?

Anyone have experience with these? Just came across them at Cascade Outfitters and it looks like the company is going out of business. Looks like a nice roomy and comfortable bag, but why do they designate it for car camping? Any reason this wouldn't be a good river bag?

Out of business? My wife and I bought a Ticla Mojave tent and absolutely LOVE the thing.

Shit~ I shopped tents hard last spring and their Mojave offered some really unique advantages for river trips. Oh well- glad we got one while we could.

Have you had a chance to try out this bag yet? I'm thinking about the same thing. Also, did it come with the sleeping pad? The Cascade Outfitter site has the pad in the description details, but not in the pics.

I hate that Ticla is gone - what a cool company.

I have tried it, but only inside so far. It is really comfortable and gives me the room to toss and turn. I got the Xl bag. I can't get the bag back in the stuff sack, but it came with a G.O.O.D stuff sack as well. It fits the bag, a bag liner and a Thermarest pillow. I could fit more in it as well.

Defiantly not a backpacking bag, but it should work well for car/raft camping. It did not come with a sleeping pad.

Thanks Steve, that's what I needed to know. bobwards.com seems to have a few TICLA items in stock as well, but the web site is kind of funky. I thought I ordered the Mojave tent from them last week, but there was an oracle database error at the end. Never got an email from them one way or another, but this afternoon I got a tracking number for the tent. Go figure.
