Suitability of Snow Peak Fire Pit

Hi, wanted to see if anyone knows about the suitability (BLM/ NFS/ NPS) of the snow peak foldable fire pit, for shorter overnight trips. Pricey, but compact. and would be good for other uses. Pictured here.

300 square inches with a 3" lip is what you're shooting for for the most restrictive locations, I believe. Stats show this to be 17.5 x 17.5, which should be big enough, but I think they might give you a hard time over the holes though. If they measure down from there, it's probably not big enough.

Thanks! ClimbDenali

Makes sense. Just measured right at the level of the holes and its 14" x 14".

We've taken the exact same stove (minus the grilling grate) on the Gates of Lodore with no issue. It's a sweet little unit, but pricey for sure!

Thanks for your timely message. Was actually thinking of calling the folks at Dinosaur NM sometime today. Great input and much appreciated!
