Stolen Gear in Great Falls, Montana

I had to move my gear after the buyer flaked out, but last froday I found out hat my car had been broken into and some gear had been stolen. If you would all keep your eyes open I would appriciate it. The rafting part of it was:

2 - new with tags NRS 72 in cargo floors. still in the bags
1 - Brand new Aire repair kit in yellow dry bag (Aire) I can positively identify it if anyone thinks they see it.
1 - Blue pelican dry box (old Aire Style) with Nrs repair materials and some yellow NRS fabric.

there was also some other stuff. but that was the rafting part. It's kind specialized so I'm not sure how some local kids would be able to sell it easily. Please get a hold of me if you have any suspicions.

This stuff only adds up to about $340 but that was a big hit for me right now so I can offer a reward for it's return. Thanks

Hey ob1coby,
I had my 155qt Yeti stolen out of my cat last fall. It was parked on it's trailer in my f'n driveway. I filed a police report and checked all the pawn shops but it never turned up. I know how you feel, f'n thieves. Good luck finding your stuff!
Later,
Mark

Holy crap ob1, when it rains it pours. I'll keep my eyes on CL, which I usually do anyways.

You really need the Smith trip to just get away from it all huh!

Sent from my SM-G900V using Mountain Buzz mobile app

Too bad there is no requirement that pawnshops list their items in a registry. Would sure help recovery but would probably kill half their business.

Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it "guaranteed", I will. I got spare time.

Yea, a few years ago I saw in a vision of my previous life on the Death Star. I was a politician. Apparently politicians are the same now as the were a long time ago in a galaxy far far away.

Anyway that would explain my current Karma.

Or maybe because of my recent name calling.

One of those two anyway.

Just thought I would update this post with some positive news, especially since this rarely happens. My neighbor found the two NRS floors in his back yard. He has seen that I have rafting gear so he came knocking. Anyway that was the most expensive part so I sure am grateful to get them back. I'm guessing that the jerks that took the stuff thought that they weren't worth much so they pitched them. I got lucky a little.
