Saturn rafts?

What do y'all think? I'm thinking about buying one to use as a mobile tub to cook up some of my homemade "pick me up". I'll tie it off to the dock and when the law man comes to check my bathtub he'll never find it!

Will it leak? If it does leak do y'all think it will make the catfsh too fast to catch?

It may leak - depending on the corrosive power of your brew - but if it does, it'll make the catfish reeeeal slow. Have you tried "Okie Noodling" to catch them?

I think it's going to speed the fish up. Riparian thinks you're talking about corn liquor. You're talking about meth, right Grif?

Oh, Lordy. I should've known when he said, "pick me up".

Yes, the Saturn will leak. And forget the Okie Noodling. They'll be faster than bonefish with a barracuda in the neighborhood.

maybe contact this guy...he'll give you the straight scoop:

i think you'd be better off buying a used avon, hyside or even nrs for a mobile meth lab, imho. something hypalon. pvc boats will dissolve from my experience.

You're much better off buying a "used" raft in good condition that's been tested for that kind of thing than a new cheap raft.

Aire's warranty is 10 years even if you wrap it around a rock, so I'm guessing you'd be OK there, too.

PVC will melt faster than Hypalon IMHO, though.

Aire's 10-year warranty applies to personal use. It's a 5-year no-fault warranty for commercial use. I'm thinking this is a commercial situation.
