Great score! I've had mine since the 1980s, and it is the most all-around useful piece of cookware in my camp kitchen. Because I also have a couple of good aluminum Dutch ovens, I use the Rome cooker mainly on the stove top. But, of course, you can use it as a Dutch oven--with the understand that without legs or a rim on the lid, it will present a few extra challenges.
There are many Dutch oven cookbooks out there. My favorite is Sheila Mills' cookbook.
