Rocket Box Rust

Planning to get some rocket boxes and curious what needs to be done for rust.

I am planning on having all sandblasted / powdercoated --- is there anything else that would need to be done?

Rocket Box Rust

I'm spraying the insides of my Groover boxes with Flex Seal today. I've got to get rid of this shit somehow after it made a complete mess of my vinyl seat!

Not that we have done. We just spay paint ours with a product like Rustoleum every few years and have had great luck.

I've been using Appliance Enamel, like you would paint a washer, dryer, or fridge with. It takes a good 24 hours to dry and ends up super hard and easy to clean. Inside and out on groover and outside on all others. No problemo.

Oh, I don't need to wait to tell you how it will work...

If you have a whole lot of Flex Seal around, I recommend you replace the floor of your fishing boat with a screen door.

If you don't remove the rust by sandblasting or sanding, then treat it with ospho before painting it.
