Rent, borrow, or buy dry box? Fort Collins/Front Range

Hey All-

So, I'm doing a Westwater trip this weekend. I had a deposit in for a dry box with a supplier to pick up this week, but received a call yesterday that it would not be possible, leaving me without storage for the trip.

Does anybody have or know of a place that:

- has a dry box to borrow or rent?
- has a dry box in stock to purchase?

I'm outfitting my new-to-me Hyside 14.0 XT, so looking for something around 36-40" wide.

I'm in Fort Collins, but will be in Denver on Thursday to drive West.

Thanks in advance for any beta - I know it's a long shot!

Scott

There's a shop here in Grand Junction, Whitewater West, that probably has one to buy or rent. I'ts on your way to WW and not too far off I-70. 970-241-0441. It's a great shop to visit regardless.

slampe, I have a Hyside XT also and have a dry box that fits perfectly. I'm in Salida. It's further off your path, but there is another option if your driving up Hwy 50 way. PM me if you want to buy one. I custom make dry boxes.

Have you tried both Rocky Mountain Adventures and Mountain Whitewater Descents? They may not have the right size, but I know they both have rental gear on hand for multi day trips. RMA may be able to set you up if you pick the box up at their location in Kremmling on your way to WW.

Good luck.
