my frame

Ok you got me. Not the complete boat but getting around to building my decking and outfitting my raft. Here is what I have so far with the decking. Just wanted to share something on here since I am always asking for help, especially since there are not many rafters here in Cincinnati.

Nice. Good to see some other eastern US folks with full on raft setups. That's looking good. How far are you from the Gauley and New?

Mr Newb. Your decking is pretty sweet! Almost looks professionally done! I made something similar but with only 1 sheet of plywood with a cutout for the cooler and lowpros and strap holes. And mine definitely doesn't look professionally done.

My only concern with running pieces all the way down the sides past the larger captain's bay is the lack of strength somewhere right under the oar towers. It may be stronger than I think, but if it were my boat I would probably designate that as a no-step-zone. Or at least only-step-here-as-a-last-resort.

I am in Cincinnati area, it is about 4.5 hours for me. We try to get over there about 2 weekends a month if possible. How about yourself.
