Paddle Length for RMR storm

I have always just ran oar rigs with my boats but thought it would be fun to have the option to run my RMR storm as a paddle boat.. There are a lot of options as far as length of paddles.. I'm thinking four shorter paddles and one longer one but not sure on lengths.. I think R4 would be a bit cramped but if we are dinking around on the town stretch I want that option. Also what is a good value paddle.. I don't need anything fancy, are the Carlisle the best cheap option?

For my mini-max, which has roughly the same dimensions as the storm, I use the 60 inch paddles. I am 5'10". I find that is long enough for guiding too (at my height) because you are sitting a little lower in the back than in bigger boats. My girlfriend who is 5'2" uses a 54" paddle but guides with the 60.
I would suggest getting the Carlisle standard paddle if you don't want to spend much. The 1" diameter "economy" paddles bend pretty easy and are not that much cheaper. Also, if you have amazon prime you can usually get them without the shipping costs.
Alternatively just go out on a commercial river during guide training and check the eddies.
R4ing in those little boats doesn't feel cramped and can be a lot of fun if you're just puttering.

Get 60" Carlisle Outfitter Paddles. Buy 4, you won't want to R4 that little boat much, but you'll want the spare when you R3 and lose or break one. Write your name and number on them and they may come back to you.

Or you could get a few of these: RivrStyx by Jim Snyder | Custom Wood Paddles
I just put a deposit down on another...
