nylon vs poly safety line?

getting close to need to replace my raft safety line/chicken line...currently is nylon webbing....polypro is half the price and does not shrink/loosen? my nylon certainly loosens and tightens when wet vs dry....suggestions/advice/experience? probably a well discussed issue but I don't know....I prefer webbing vs rope/cord....thanks, Chet Roe

Nylon webbing, polypro will suffer UV degradation and fail rapidly.

Nylon tube webbing ran through the buckle ends of a couple of loop straps so that you can adjust tension easily. I think I got my last roll for under 40 bucks.

Actually just replaced my webbing last night as it was around 10 years old and used an older loop cam strap to tighten on the rear end. I needed about 50' for a 16' raft. Got some bluewater nylon webbing off Amazon.
