Never had that happen but give Jim a call and he'll take care of you.

I had the tabs break off (the ones that keep the plunger in a locked position). I have a K40 and really love it. I emailed the owner of Kpump, and he sent me a repair kit that was also an upgrade, free of charge. And the turnaround was so fast. So great customer service from K-pump. I love the K40 as I can do big pump ups when I top off the raft, and use the little internal pump for final topping off. Works great with our double ducky as well.
