is SunSport ripping off Aire's cataraft design?

SunSport 15'x25" Class V Lochsa Cataraft

pvc, welded, zipper, urethane bladder, 10 year warranty.
Anybody ever hear of this company?

I don't know about the tubes, but those frames are really different. No cross bars, and "pedestal" seats. Interesting. Rigging coolers and dry boxes would be challenging, or least would require a new mind set?

3 mil seams really thin for bladder material. The frame design looks really kool. If they pop up at Costco or Sam's.........I might have to buy one.

Someone should call them on the 3 mil bladder That is the same mill thickness that is used in kites. That has to be a typo.

Just jumping in form a manufacturers perspective. I do not think I will call for pricing. But it could be a local manufacturer. I will be reading the posts. Of course inquiring minds want to know.

Just called and spoke to the builders wife, he'll return my call.

Made in America...no other details yet.

Who has questions they would like answered?

Yeah, ask them wth is a passenger going to hold onto with no cross bar? Where does the pass brace their feet? And the rower? Lochsa, give me a break, the frame looks hokey to me.
