Wasn't there a guy on here a month ago who recoated an old black rubber bridge pontoon he'd remodeled into a white j-rig?

Great replies but I'm laughing pretty hard. I got the boat from Zack about 10 years ago.

I ran it about a dozen times that summer and the next but never get her out. I really love how she drives but I was pretty shocked at how fast things get ugly when things go wrong in a standard floor gear boat (nasty experience in Chicken Raper ... lol).

The original dark grey avons, the old achilles and old hyside had double hypalon.

I'll make a note on my parts list to let you know if I get some motor becketts.
I had a feeling you would have the answer I was looking for. Thanks! If you find those beckets, let me know. I'd be stoked.

Can’t we all get along and go rafting? If you can’t find your oar there’s one up Casey’s ass.

Avon used a process called "Calendering". Base fabric of Nylon was run thru a press, between rollers, where the Hypalon was uniformly pressed thru the fabric weave to create a cohesive unified coating on both sides of the material. Far less delamination.

We could have gotten along but you decided to revive a dead thread to talk trash? Luckily I have 6 spare oars so if I accidentally leave one up your ass, it won't be missed.
