How to remove marks from raft.

I have a white Aire Sabertooth. Now that boat shows every thing. I use a simple row frame I built. Anyways Mr. Clean magic erase pads will remove 99% of the dark rub marks that look like damage. I also did this on a 14 year old set of tubes and they look pretty good. Just thought I would share this.

Now on the Sabertooth I have put foam pipe insulation on the frame. That keeps almost all the marks off so I don't have to scrub the boat on top. But the bottom marks are easily removed with magic erase pads.

NRS Cleaner Beware

I've seen NRS Inflatable Boat Cleaner do an amazing job restoring a new look to rubber, but I also saw it damage the PVC material on an older (2001) AIRE raft. Within minutes of NRS cleaner being applied the PVC began to crack.

Cleaning

Hello all,

I haven't tried the Mr Clean....but I will put it on my list.

Something I have tried that works amazing is Orange TKO. It's a natural citrus cleaner and it has removed just about anything, especially if you do not dilute the solution.

Hope this helps.

Really? Wow... It states right on the front and back of the bottle that it is for PVC and Hypalon. Well that must have sucked. It would be interesting to hear from other owners of PVC boats that use or don't use this product. I use it on my Hypalon boat and like you mentioned, it works great. You mentioned the boat was 15 years old or so, wonder if that had anything to do with it?

Gojo without pumice, and or nrs cleaner. Both work on my Aire without issue. When using the nrs boat cleaner I only use a cap full in a rag and hose it off quickly after scrubbing. Use magic erasers also.

I use magic erasers also. Noticed the texture on my tubes wearing smooth though, and the color looking a little faded. I just use water, so maybe if I used some sort of cleaning agent it wouldn't have to scrub as long and hard to remove aluminum markings....

Inflatable boat cleaner. Then recoat with 303. Works the best without damaging the boat.
