Frame Width with a Double Rail vs a Single Rail

Looking at the NRS site and they have suggested frame widths, like on the e152 which is 7'2'' wide, they suggest a 66'' frame. I guess this is because they are suggesting an NRS frame which needs to sit ideally in the center of the tube.

My question is how much wider can you go with a double rail frame like a DRE frame on that same boat?

7'2'' with 20'' tubes.

I always make my frames, I prefer to go A bit wider than the top of the tubes. A single or a double I make to same width(outside to outside). If a boat's tubes measure 60 from top of tube to top of tube I make mine 66. That is 3 inches to the outside of center on each side. You may want to inflated your boat to double check that the wear patches are wide enough for this.
