Floor valve. In the bow or stern?

Where do you like it and why? NRS boat 20inch tubes throughout. Does it really matter?

If you have a gear pile in the back, it should go up front so you can still access it without taking everything out and removing your cargo floor or everything bag or whatever you have back there.

I like it accesible during the day and I usually have an everything bag in the stern so I always set the boat up with the valves in the bow. I still put stuff up there sometimes, but its easy to remove stuff so I have easy access to the valves.

If you are just paddle rafting or don't put much in the ends of the boat, it is kinda nice to keep it out of the way of feet so maybe the stern in that application.

So...in other words...wherever is convenient.

In the back for paddle rafting
In the front for expeditions
It helps if you have a symmetrical boat.
