DIY Gear porn thread

I am a person who enjoys making their own gear and I am sure many of you others are as well! Let's see those homemade drop bags, drag bags, tables, utensil holders etc. DISCLAIMER: I am not a gear company looking to rip your designs etc, just a guy who has a sewing machine and likes sitting in front of it!

Here are a few items I have made lately. Don't have any pics of my drop bags or gear bags but will try and get some.

Drag Bags(first design):

Map Book Case:

Sand Stake:

Med Kit:

Cup Holder:

I love these types of threads! Here is a barrel pump that I made. Planning on a few things this year, a drop bag, cargo net and whatever else I can think up!

Missiongravity, where do you buy the vinyl mesh?

Paper towel dispenser. I got tired of towels on a roll and figured there must be a better way, this was my answer.

Nice! I wanted to make one but I ended up getting a Carlson AND a K-Pump for my birthday last year so that saved me the trouble of making a pump!

That's a slick answer to the paper towel problem. I always keep a roll in the dry box and they end up getting destroyed by the end of a long trip. I like this idea of what equates to an oversized PVC Kleenex dispenser.

Go Pro mount. Two straps to the d rings and it is ready to go. Is rock solid and has a para cord safety to the go pro camera and a d ring in case of me screwing up. I'm sitting on a home made dry box, plywood.

Bwaters, the mesh is actually from Jo-Anns. It is the only heavy duty thing they carry there. It is called pet screen mesh. It is a vinyl coated polyester thread I believe. I have been using it as it is very affordable with their 50% off coupons and it seems to hold up reasonably well so far.

It's packed away right now, but I made a version of this one minus the bowl for a basin. Two buckets, a one way pump (I used a fish tank siphon bulb), some tubing, and a spout of your choice, and you've got a handwashing station. Get a piece of wood and something to make a simple bracket from if you want to secure the bulb to a base instead of letting it hang out in the dirt.
