Cat Frame

Please recommend a good cat frame for a set of 13'6" Sotar Legend tubes. I like to play in Class 3 to 5. Thanks!!

Hi Machias,

We have a few we sell, the biggest sellers are the Class V frames made of aluminum and really light! The powder coated one on the website link is my actual frame and I have a cargo module I can add to it for extended trips or passengers, the main frame weighs 36lbs. Class V SouthFork Cat Frame | Cascade River Gear

The other is the DRE Light Duty Frame DRE Arkansas LD Cat Frame w/Seat | Cascade River Gear this one breaks down so if you are a traveler that needs that this is a great option. We can also build you an NRS set up if you so desire, they are great tough frames as we all know just a little heavier which makes a difference for me, you can also add on to them or altar them at anytime just by purchasing additional bars which makes them a great option when you have more than one boat you are using the frame on.

Let us know if we can help with anything else and keep it right side up!

Renee

I'd recommend Jesse's Class V frame too. Here's his site:

Take your chances.........I wouldn't.......

Jesse's and Guy's frames are different but both good and have their individual advantages. Can't go wrong with either, just decide what features are important to you.

I have no beef with Entity personally but they've been spamming up the River Rafters Anonymous facebook page lately and calling out a lot of the well respected manufacturers for being on the water too much, fishing too much, not putting enough sweat into their products, taking too much profit etc. Some of these manufacturers and companies are personal friends. Really turned me off. Entity's product looks really nice on the webs but I've never seen one in person. Just the general vibe I've gotten means I would never be purchasing a product from them. I would however look at the others mentioned in this thread if I were in the market for a new cat frame.
