Best cam straps

These are some of the best straps I have purchased. You can order sizes and colors over the web made to order. Check out the Polyester - breaking strength 2500-7000 pounds.

Upgrade the buckles from the standard one- and request reinforced stitching. My most recent ones are not heavily stitched at all and some are tough to thread because of tight clearance at the buckles.

Tough River Stuff has great straps as well- he uses polyester webbing and ships fast. Much better on the stitching, too

Tuff River Stuff and NRS have lasted much longer for me, my Strapworks.com straps were disinegrated by UV in a disappointingly short time. I have a couple NRS straps I acquired in the 80's that have held up great, the buckles tend to fail before the webbing. I really like the material TRS uses, very supple.

Best cam straps

I have some 80's NRS straps that are still in very good shape. I wish I had purchased more! I have new NRS straps that are falling apart (I lost some gear in Cat due to a failure) and I have had a number of buckles fail. I have a bag of NRS straps 1/2 of which are questionable at this point. Time will tell with the strapworks, but they seem like quite an improvement to me.

Another vote for tuff river stuff's straps. Picked up some in April and will never go back. And they have a great, personable crew in office to top it off.

Tuffriverstuff, bomber straps, everything bag, custom size is also bomber and cheap for what it is. Ray kills it.

For the price, NRS makes a very good strap. Many of mine are +15 years old, and still in excellent shape. I think it depends on how you treat them. When not on the river, most of mine are loosely coiled, dry and out of the sun. For my frame to d-rings, I went with 1.5" straps, plus they're great for hanging my spare oar. Biggest problem I've had with them are with my kids, who think they're a shared collection.
