Are these actually Avon?

I'm looking at trading my exped cat for a raft this winter. I have been intrigued by AVON and I stumbled across this.

AVON Professional River Raft UAB

Are these actually AVON or some weird relationship that zodiac is using to market theirs?

I saw one from a distance on the Rogue this fall. The lines were all AVON despite the black d-rings. I didn't get a chance to talk to the owner unfortunately.

This is what Zodiac Int'l is building now. Same fabric, probably, as the post-98/99' Avons, which is about when Zodiac bought out the line. Good boats but they dropped the Avon name a couple years ago. As for fabrics, only pre-98/99' Avon boats have the original double-sided hypalon that Avon was known for. Hyside, also, uses double-sided hypalon. The current fabric from Zodiac (USB) is similar to NRS and is good stuff buy IMHO only double-sided hypalon will last as long as the original Avons are (still) lasting.

Zodiac, Hyside, and NRS expeditions are the best boats IMO. You will be stoked if you score a Zodiac. You'll be turning heads at the put in also.
