Anyone find a 10-11' tarp pole anywhere?

Anyone happen to trip across a 10-11' telescoping/sectional tarp pole? Looking for an alternative to oars when not available.

There are a lot of 8-8.5' poles out there but looking for something a bit taller...ya know...kinda like an oar

Spike tent poles are much longer than standard adjustable tarp poles but they are also steel vs aluminum and would weigh quite a bit more.

I've got these although I paid ten percent of that price at NRS Bargain room. They seem very well built and light.

I'll buy them off of you for 20% of list. That's 100% profit for you

I also have the NRS River Wing poles. I paid full price for the pair. I wanted to buy four but couldn't justify spending more on the poles than I did for the Kelty Noah's Tarp I wanted to use them with.

Shortly after I got them one of the pole ends, the post that goes through the tarp grommet, fell out and was lost. It was glued in and maybe dimpled too. I contacted NRS and sent photos hoping they would just send me a replacement pole (or set). Considering what I paid I thought that was reasonable but they wanted the defective one back. I didn't have the replacement poles in time for my next trip.

The replacement pole lost it's grommet post within a year. I now just stick a cheap aluminum tent stake into the end. While NRS stood behind the product, they are way overpriced. I would like to get into NRS' Bargain room and buy the defective one I sent back for $8 though!

Perhaps those are the ones I bought! I had to glue one of the composite plugs back in place, used a jb weld like epoxy and is going strong. I do agree they are way over priced at retail.

If you have a place to lash it those telescoping painting poles would be bomber. One I have I think is 5' to 10'.
