AIRE cat oval badges sticky and burnt looking

The Oval AIRE raised badge(s) on my newer cat is sticky to the touch and looks brown and kind of burned, does anyone else have the issue? - I know its pretty trivial but I've been trying to stay up on keeping the boat washed and 303'd; so it bothers me, and I was going to call the company some day and ask, but I figured since I was here...........

<-- My 136DD that I bought last year is like that too...haven't worried about it but would love to hear if there is an easy solution (like a product that will get rid of the stickyness...not pulling it off and installing a new one.

Call Aire

Aire no longer uses those decals it was a common problem. I would call them and see if the best customer service in the industry is alive and well.

Same here. Two wave destroyers and a 136dd. I’ve tried Inflatable boat cleaner and a stiff bristle scrub brush. It will get most of the burnt looking stuff off, but the compound the logo is made of is not sunlight resistant and will become sticky again in short order. I hate it. I doubt there is fix. My dd logo has somehow semi inflated itself as well. Like a big blister wart on all my favorite toys.

Seems like one of us needs to contact Aire and see if they have any ideas. Maybe clean it and coat it with something? I'll shoot an email off and see if they respond tomorrow.

edit: Just sent the email...I'll let you know what they say.

I'd remove it and put an Electric Mayhem logo on it.

AIRE Badge Replacement

We had an issue with the oval badges which is why we are now using the heat transfer process to logo directly to the PVC. There isnít a way to clean the oval badge. It will just keep rotting. We have made PVC AIRE badges to replace the rotten oval ones. If anyone is having an issue, I would recommend contacting [email protected] or our service department at 844.556.5730. We will send you a replacement patch and service can provide some direction for removing the old badge and applying the new one. If you would rather have us handle the replacement, you would just need to get the boat to one of our authorized service centers and we will cover the badge and labor.

Fixed - Thanks!!

Big Thanks! to MB, AIRE and Inflatable Technologies in Denver.

Looks great - I hope the pictures come through. I was into some wild over-clicking so we will see what happens.
