Advice on selling my 16 ft. Lion

Any advice on where to advertise? Most folks on Mountain Buzz are too far away to pick up. I'm in Idaho Falls. Also, need to know what it's worth? I have posted it locally for 30% off retail. It's 2 years old, and only used five times. Like new, with no damage ever. Is that a fair price? I could use some advice, I really need to sell by spring.

You are in a tough spot in the market. For not much more, a buyer can dial in color and owns the full 10 years of warranty.

Our local club had an extended thread on this. General consensus was new-with-tags gear you ask 50% of retail. Lower depending on wear and tear.

Brutal in this case. I can only say that those prices do indeed get gear sold quickly. When I've tried to get >70% of retail, it's rare to make a quick sale.

If you can be more flexible on your timing, wait until the spring river lotteries have run. That's your best time to sell.

30% off seems fair if it's in good shape. Might take time though (especially in the winter). 50% off retail would probably move it in the winter.

Just a thought, you might stir up some interest if you would post a list of the equipment, and several photos...
